Britain.- Camden (William) Britannia siue Florentissimorum regnorum, Angliæ, Scotiæ, Hiberniæ, et insularum adiacentium ex intima antiquitate chorographica descriptio, third edition, title with first word in woodcut cartouche and with woodcut royal arms, leaf of Anglo-Saxon alphabet within woodcut frame, woodcut illustrations and decorative initials and head-pieces, A5r ms. verse beginning 'Our Books are mirrours to our mind', sig. I and part of K with burnhole, affecting several letters on each of those ff., Y1 and 2H8 torn and repaired with extensive loss of text, some spotting and staining, later reversed calf, text block split in two, spine ends and corners worn, rubbed, [STC 4505], 8vo, George Bishop, 1590. sold not subject to return.
