Holy Land.- Homann (Johann Baptist) Carte de la Terre Sainte Divisee selon les Douze Tribus d'Israel ..., detailed map revised by Christoph Harenberg of modern-day Israel, Jordan and Palestine, showing the Holy Land divided into twelve regions according to the territories allotted for each of the twelve tribes, with an inset of map of the region showing Roman historical divisions, and a large decorative cartouche in the lower right corner, engraving with early hand-colouring, 490 x 560 mm. (19 1/4 x 22 in), sheet 515 x 610 mm. (20 1/4 x 24 in), central vertical fold as issued, with old repairs to splitting at upper and lower sections, repaired tear to lower left edge, minor handling creases, even browning, unframed, 1750.
