Bromfield (M.) A brief Account of that most reigning Disease the Scurvy, with infallible Directions for its Cure, 2pp, lightly stained, creases and small central hole where previously folded, [Not in ESTC, cf. B4884B & 4884D], folio, n.p., [late 17th century, after 1682]
⁂ Very rare broadside advertising Bromfield's own pills to cure scurvy, and listing shops in London where they could be bought. Two variants (with slightly different titles) are listed by ESTC, of which only one copy is recorded of each (BL and Chatsworth), dated [1680?] and [1681-2] respectively. This copy contains the date 1682 in the text concerning the efficacy of Mr Bromfield's pills and one copy only is listed by WorldCat, in the Harvey Cushing/John Hay Whitney Medical Library at Yale, dated by them c.1684.
