Foggini (Pietro Francesco) Fastorum anni Romani a Verrio Flacco ordinatorum reliquiae ex marmorearum tabularum fragmentis, 2 parts in 1 vol., first edition, 2 engraved title pages, engraved portrait, and 6 plates (2 folding), folding table, damp-stain to head of first gathering, occasional spotting, some ff. with chips to margins, not affecting text, later half calf, covers detached, rather worn, folio, Rome, Benedicti Francesii, 1779.

⁂ Rare work on the Fasti Praenestini, discovered by Foggini in or around 1771. Sadly surviving only as fragments, nevertheless it gave a new insight into the Roman calendar and celebratory customs.
