⁂ A good collection of works on perspective and painting. Thomas Bardwell was a portrait painter, Joshua Kirby was tutor to the Prince of Wales (later George III) on the subjects of perspective and fortifications. He was also a friend of Hogarth's who contributed the famous frontispiece of warped perspective.
