⁂ An important textbook, based on the author's L'Archittura Civile. The five parts of the first volume contain practical geometry, the orders according to Vitruvius, Serlio, Palladio, the architecture of Bibiena, and the division of architecture according to Vignola. The second volume deals with perspective and theatre interiors.
