⁂ The first describes the restoration of the chapel by J.B.A.Lassus and features magnificent chromolithographs of the decoration and stained glass. The second is the only substantive record of the paintings in the Palais Royal before they were destroyed by fire during the revolution of 1848, including Delacroix's painting of Richelieu holding mass.
