Description

World.- Williams (Robert, fl. 1680-1704) Mr Grevil Verney, three-quarter length portrait, after Michael Dahl, mezzotint, on laid paper with indistinct watermark, 350 x 250 mm. (13 3/4 x 9 7/8 in), approx. 5-8 mm. margins, small rust spot with restoration lower left in lettered margin, minor handling creases, unframed, [Chaloner Smith, 53], published by John Smith, [circa 1680-1704]; together with a large miscellaneous group of prints and map related ephemera, including a large group of postcards, lithographic advertisements, share certificates, sheet music in printed paper wrappers, and others, lithographs, engravings, some with hand-colouring, various sizes, [mainly late 19th century], (Qty.).
