Satire.- Doyle (John) Political Sketches &c. by HB, vol. VII only, title and 30 uncoloured lithographs, each sheet 285 x 410 mm (11 1/4 x 16 1/8 in), spotting and browning throughout, some surface dirt, contemporary half morocco, gilt label to upper cover, upper cover detached, worn, oblong folio, Thomas McLean, [circa 1800-1830]; together with an associated album with over 125 uncoloured lithographic caricatures by HB and others, traditionally understood to have been compiled by William Henry Brooke, half calf, label to spine reads 'Caricatures Vol. 12', very worn, folio, [early 19th century]; and with 'An Illustrative Key to the Political Sketches of HB, from No. 1-600, original half morocco, gilt, rubbed, 8vo, Thomas McLean, 1841; and a folio album of French satire, 19th century (4)
