Australia.- Tasmania.- Curr (Edward) Three years residence in Van Diemen's Land; comprising a description of that rising colony, its advantages and prospects, commerce, manners, customs, &c. of its inhabitants, with an account of the bush-rangers, forming a practical guide to emigrants & settlers, folding engraved frontispiece map, errata f., 'Form of application for unmarried females desirous of being assisted to emigrate to New South Wales or Van Diemen's Land' (4pp.) bound in at start, map with tape repairs to tears verso and ink library inscription within image, staining and finger-marking, lightly browned, original dark green cloth, gilt title to spine, upper joint split, but holding firm, spine ends and corners little worn, soiled, rubbed, large 12mo, George Cowie, 1834.
