Britian.- Cary (John) Cary's Reduction of his Six Sheet Map of the British isles..., large engraved wall map of map depicting the entirety of the British Isles, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland, extending from the Blasket Islands and County Kerry in Ireland to the North Sea and from the Orkney Islands to the English Channel and northern France, engraving with outline hand-colouring, sheet 1260 x 995 mm (49 1/2 x 39 1/4 in), dissected and mounted on linen, some surface dirt and browning, brown stains in places within the map, folding with publisher's printed labels to ends, without slipcase, 8vo, 1836; together with Johnston's 'First Sketch of a New Geological Map of Scotland', with folding hand-coloured geological map of Scotland, 1861 (2)
