Cotman (John Sell) Specimens of Architectural Remains in Various Counties of England, 5 parts in 2 vol., lithographed portrait, 2 etched additional pictorial titles, pictorial dedication and 239 engraved plates, ex-library copy with ink stamp on verso of pictorial titles, modern bookplate of Stanhope Shelton, occasional foxing and soiling (mostly marginal), modern half morocco preserving old morocco labels on spines, a few marks, spines a little faded, folio, Henry G.Bohn, 1838.

⁂ The five parts comprise: Architectural Antiquities of Norfolk (60 plates); Specimens of Norman and Gothic Remains in the County of Norfolk (50 plates); Specimens of Castellated and Ecclesiastical Remains in the County of Norfolk (51 plates, numbered 1-50 with an additional unnumbered & uncalled for plate of the Ruins of Castle-Rising Castle); Specimens of Architectural Remains in the Counties of York, Cambridge, Suffolk, Lincoln, Essex, and North Wales (30 plates); Liber Studiorum (48 plates, mostly sofy-ground etchings).
