Horses.- Veterinary & farriery.- Markham (Gervase) Markham's master-piece revived: containing all knowledge belonging to the Smith, Farrier, or Horse-leach, 4 parts in 1, initial 'The Mind or meaning of the frontispiece' f., engraved additional pictorial title, woodcut illustrations in text, including 3 full-page of horse anatomy and 1 full-page of 'The Farriers chief Instruments', printed title small repair to lower corner, affecting small part of imprint, small wormholes (mostly) / trace at head, the odd f. with small piece from a margin, occasional spotting or light staining, lightly browned, tan calf by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, spine in compartments and with gilt title and date, spine faded, little marked, [Fussell I, pp.28-32; Poynter 20.14; Wing M665; ESTC R34529], small 4to, printed by John Richardson for Tho. Passinger at the Three Bibles on London-Bridge, and M. Wotton and George Coniers, at the Three Daggers in Fleet-street, near the Inner-Temple, 1688.
