Italy.- Vasi (Giuseppe) Prospetto del 'Alma Cittá di Roma visto dal Monte Gianicolo, the full panorama with the twelve sections joined, listing 390 monuments and sites, the numbering of which correspond to those in the guidebook that Vasi published in the same year, etching and engraving, a very good contemporary impression on laid papers, some watermarked with single encircled fleur-de-lis, total platemark approx. 1015 x 2600 mm (40 x 102 1/4 in), small to good margins, some lifting up of old joins but without losses and all of the print present, one small associated tear, some minor damp-staining, slightly rough edges in places, surface dirt, unframed, Rome, [circa 1745-1765]
