In disem buechlin findstu kurtzs begriffs aller Roemischen Keyser und Baepst Historien, first and only edition, tables, early ink marginalia (some trimmed), including an addendum for Pope Clement VII at end, marginal repairs to title, occasional chip or small piece from a margin, short worm trace to upper margins of F4-K1, small later ink ownership stamp to lower margin of final verso, spotting and finger-marking, 19th century brown boards, sympathetically rebacked in modern brown calf in compartments, red morocco label to upper cover, oblong 8vo, [VD16 M 4616], [Basel], [Adam Petri], 1522.

⁂ Rare copy of the first and only edition of this history of emperors and popes, presented in tabular form. Mennel (1460-1525) was court historian to Maximilian I.
