Maritime.- Shipwreck.- [Slight (Julian)] A Narrative of the Loss of the Royal George, 60pp., lithographed frontispiece and plate, extra-illustrated with folding engraved portrait and 5 plates, of which 4 hand-coloured and most folding, occasional light spotting, folding manuscript document tipped-in at end "John Michie Esqr Ordnce: storekeeper to his Majesty's Squadron in the East Indies Dr: to the Honoble East India Company for the following Charges of Boat hire &c &c on account of his Majesty's Ships...Yarmouth...Elizabeth...Cumberland", 2pp., 180 x 200mm., signed by the commanding officers, 1759, original wooden boards from the wreck, early roan reback, spine lettered "Royal George" in gilt, split to lower board, but holding firm, contemporary marbled board slip-case (rubbed at extremities), 24mo, Portsea, S. Horsey, 1840.
