Bawden (Edward).- Christmas Book Shop (The): The Year's Best Books, 8pp., printed in yellow and black, illustrations by Edward Bawden and Eric Ravilious, slightly soiled and frayed at edges, staples rusting, [1924] § Royal College of Art Students' Magazine, vol.II No. VIII, with illustration by Bawden to head of p.31 and 3 by Ravilious (Greenwood G.012, 013 & 014), original printed wrappers, frayed at edges, June 1924 § Fortnum & Mason Ltd. The Delectable History of Fortnum & Mason, 12pp., illustrations in red & lilac by Bawden, stapled, 1957 § Empire Tea Market Expansion Board. A New Essay upon Tea addressed to the Medical Profession, illustrations by Bawden, with printed letter from the Board and extract from BMJ loosely inserted (the first with small ink stain to one edge), original boards, lightly spotted, 1936; and 5 other items of commercial work by Bawden including 2 more Fortnum & Mason promotional leaflets, 8vo & 4to (9)

⁂ The first was an advertising insert for the December 1924 edition of The Studio. It includes some of both Bawden's and Ravilious's earliest published designs, executed while they were still students at the Royal College of Art.
