Ravilious (Eric).- Armstrong (Martin) Desert, a Legend, first edition, number 26 of 100 copies signed by the author, original cloth, t.e.g., others uncut, dust-jacket (spine lightly browned and water-stained, slight creasing and fraying to upper edge), 1926; 54 Conceits, first edition, original cloth-backed boards, uncut, dust-jacket (spine browned, upper panel very slightly soiled and with tear to upper edge neatly repaired), 1933, both with wood-engravings by Eric Ravilious; and a first American edition of the first, 8vo (3)

⁂ The first item contains the artist's first book illustrations. The American edition was printed on more sympathetic paper which produced better impressions of the engravings.
