Cosmorama: The Manners, Customs, and Costumes of all Nations of the World, new edition, 24 hand-coloured engraved plates each with 2 illustrations, 1 plate working loose, the odd spot or surface mark, small water-stain to first few ff., very occasional faint offsetting, endpapers foxed, ink gift inscription to front free pastedown, original cloth, spine faded, slight discolouration to covers, 1834 § [Civil, Religious, and Military Costumes of Rome], lacking title, 88 hand-coloured engraved plates only (of ?90), a few repairs, a few loose or working so, occasional short tears to margins, light foxing or staining, some with contemporary ink or pencil manuscript numbering and captions, later endpapers, contemporary half vellum, morocco label lettered in gilt to upper cover, ?Rome, c.1840 § Costumi della Corte Pontificia, engraved hand-coloured title and 42 plates, of which 1 with large repaired tear and working loose, occasional light surface stains, large light brown staining to some plates, crushed morocco backed boards, Rome, 1853, rubbed or worn, v.s.
