Budé (Guillaume) Commentarii linguae Graecae, Greek & Latin text, title with woodcut printer's device (text & device cut round and mounted on blank leaf), woodcut pictorial initials, a2 with contemporary ink annotation and inscription torn away from fore-margin not affecting text, some browning and water-staining, hole to 3C1 of Index with loss of a few letters/numbers, colophon leaf creased, eighteenth century sprinkled calf, spine gilt with red morocco label, a little rubbed and scuffed, cracks to joints, slight wear to spine ends, folio, Paris, Robert Etienne, 1548.
