Budé (Guillaume) De asse & partibus eius libri quinque, woodcut decorative initials, some criblé, with final blank G6, title lightly browned, Paris, Michel de Vascosan, Robert Estienne and Jean de Roigny, 1541 [colophon 1542] bound with Priscianus Caesariensis. Opera a tergo huius, cum vita eius exprimenda, title with central woodcut of printing workshop within fine woodcut pictorial border, woodcut criblé initials, with final blank t8, contemporary ink manuscript annotations to first few leaves, one or two leaves soiled, slight marginal worming to lower outer corner towards end, [Paris, Josse Badius], [1527], together 2 works in 1, contemporary reversed calf, worn, upper cover detached, folio

⁂ A crisp and generally clean copy with good margins combining Budé's treatise on coins and measures with Priscianus's important work on Latin grammar.
