Du Bartas (Guillaume de Salluste) Du Bartas His Diuine Weekes, and Workes..., engraved pictorial title by R.Elstracke, with the initial blank but lacking two preliminary leaves from signature A (one being A5 containing woodcut portrait), woodcut head- & tail-pieces and initials, with folding letterpress leaf 'The Mysterie of Mysteries' illustrated with woodcuts (torn and slightly stained), occasional soiling or browning, last few leaves creased, contemporary ink signature "Alexander Colston September 29 1653" to initial blank (upper outer corner cut away not affecting signature), contemporary calf, rubbed, gouge to upper cover, corners and spine ends worn and chipped, [STC 21653], folio, Humphray Lownes, [1621].
