Slovenia.- Schönleben (Johann Ludwig) Carniola antiqua et nova, vol.1 [all published], 3 parts in 1, titles with woodcut printer's vignette, title of vol.1 in red & black (soiled and trimmed, laid down), woodcut head- & tail-pieces and initials, 2 folding engraved maps and 3 smaller engraved maps on one sheet, several holes and a repaired tear to one folding map, some browning or soiling, eighteenth century calf with gilt roll-tool border, spine gilt in compartments, label detached (loosely inserted, slightly chipped), a little rubbed, lower outer corners slightly stained, spine worn at foot, folio, Ljubljana, J.B.Mayr, 1681-80.
