Guillermus, Parisiensis Postilla Guillermi super epistolas et evangelia, 3 parts in 1, general title (printed in red and black) and that to third part with repeated large woodcut illustration, title to second part within ornate woodcut decorative border with putti at head, and 118 woodcut illustrations (a few partially hand-coloured), all by Urs Graf, text omitted by printer on 25v, 26r, 27v, and 28r, some of text supplied in an early hand in case of 25v and 26r, occasional early ink marginalia (sometimes relatively extensive), and initial-strokes and underlining in red, small hole to general title with loss of a few letters recto and a few words verso, water-stained, some worming, the odd short tear, occasional spotting or light staining, lightly browned, ornately blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, metal clasps, spine in compartments, piece from head of spine, foot of spine bumped, corners worn, wormholes, faded and rubbed, [Adams G1599; VD16 E 4385], 8vo, [Basel], [Adam Petri], [31 July, 1513].
⁂ The first Petri edition of these sermons by William of Paris (1437-1485). The Hebrew types in the margins of 56v & 57r are the first cast in Basel.
