Jesuits.- Campion (Edmund) Decem Rationes Propositae in Causa Fidei,..., engraved christogram to title, printer's woodcut device to final f. verso, woodcut initials, later calf, gilt, spine with British Isles motif of rose and thistle surmounted by crown, very slight wear to joints, Antwerp, Christophe Plantin and Balthasar Moretus, 1631 § Bellarmino (Roberto) Disputationum... de controversiis Christianae fidei, adversus huius temporis hæreticos..., 4 vol., titles in red and black within historiated architectural border, woodcut head-, tail-pieces and initials, some damp-stains to vol. 1 but general clean, vol. 3-4 hinges with binder's waste of medieval MS fragments (neat hands in brown, black and red ink, a couple of small initials in red and blue) and also with additional cloth repairs and modern endpapers added, contemporary vellum, yapp edges, Ingolstadt, Adam Sartorius, 1601 § Suarez (Francisco) Operis de Religione, 4 vol., titles in red and black within historiated architectural border, some browning and foxing, later vellum, double spine labels, a few joint tears to vellum but joints firm, Leiden, Jacob Cardon, 1630-34; and a group of other works by Jesuit authors, mainly 17th century, v.s.
