Markham (Gervase) The English hous-wife, containing the inward and outward vertues which ought to be in a compleat woman, 'fifth edition', woodcuts of wine gauge marks to p.199, occasional contemporary ink marginalia and pen trials, final f. of table torn lower corner with loss of text, water-stained, some spotting, lightly browned, endpapers taped, hinges split, contemporary sheep, rebacked, worn, but holding firm, [cf.
