⁂ An interesting trio of works with 16th century Swiss imprints, contemporary to the reformers themselves; Bullinger was head of the Church in Zurich and collaborated closely with Calvin, while Vermigli was Italian born and his Loci Communes became a standard theological textbook for Calvin's followers or Reformed theologians.
