⁂ "The Goon Show", also known as "Crazy People" starring Peter Sellers, Harry Seacombe, Michael Bentine, and Spike Milligan, was a British radio comedy programme which had considerable influence on the development of British and American comedy and popular culture, with King Charles III and The Beatles being listeners of the show. The show satirised contemporary British life, using puns, catchphrases and bizarre sound effects. Other scripts included in this lot are "Meet the Huggetts" by Eddie Maguire, and "Just William".
