Gregynog Press.- Aesop. The Fables of Esope, Translated out of Frensshe into Englysshe by William Caxton, number 173 of 250 copies, wood-engraved title and numerous illustrations by Agnes Miller Parker and initials by William MacCance, original Welsh natural sheepskin, by the Gregynog Press Bindery, spine titled in black, uncut, a little rubbed and marked as usual, preserved in transparent wrapper and paper folder, [Harrop 20], 4to, Newport, Gregynog Press, 1931 [1932].

⁂ One of the great illustrated editions of Aesop, and a masterpiece from the press. It is notoriously difficult to find in good condition due to the leather used for the binding.
