Americas.- Various Artists & Cartographers (17th to 19th century) Large collection of over 90 maps and views, including South America, with several early engravings with original colour relating the capture of the Brazilian port of San Salvador by the Dutch admiral Jacob Willekes, others include views and costume studies from various South American countries, and elsewhere, engravings and lithographs, most with hand-colouring, various sizes between 230 x 310 mm (9 x 12 1/4 in) and 460 x 630 mm (18 1/8 x 24 3/4 in), some laid onto paper support, handling creases and surface dirt, marginal nicks and tears, all loose, unframed, mainly 17th to 19th century (c.90)
