The Fables of Aesop Paraphras'd in Verse...by John Ogilby, engraved portrait of Ogilby by Lombart after Peter Lely, title in red & black, engraved frontispiece of Aesop with animals and 81 plates by Wenceslaus Hollar and Roderigo Stoop (plates 14/15 combined and one unnumbered), engraved head-piece & initial, 1665; Aesopic's: or a Second Collection of Fables..., title in red & black, 68 plates by Hollar and Francis Barlow, 1668, together 2 works in 1 vol., occasional spotting and soiling, some light water-staining, mostly marginal, ink stains to plate 4 of the first, scribbles to lower margin of plate 6 of the second and stains to pp.159-166 including 4 plates, a few plates a little worn, contemporary panelled mottled calf, gilt, rebacked, rubbed, corners a little worn, preserved in modern cloth folder and slip-case, [Wing A693 & A698], folio, Thomas Roycroft, for the Author
