Dutch Emblems.- Emblémes ou Devises Chrétiennes, engraved frontispiece and 100 circular emblems, with the final blank, lightly browned, hole to *4 with loss of a couple of letters (repaired), contemporary vellum with yapp edges (edge to upper cover wormed), preserved in modern marbled portfolio, Utrecht, Antoine Schouten, 1697 § Luiken (Jan) De Onwaardige Wereld, vertoond in Vyftig Zinnebeelden, first edition, engraved additional pictorial title and 50 emblems, some light water-staining, 19th century half cloth, lacking portion of paper covering from upper board, P.Arentz & K. vander Sys, 1710; Des Menschen Begin, Midden en Einde, engraved additional pictorial title and 50 emblems, portrait and 51 emblems, portrait shaved at fore-edge, contemporary vellum, preserved in modern cloth drop-back box, Kornelis vander Sys, 1730; Het Leerzam Huisraad, engraved additional pictorial title and 50 emblems, a couple of small stains, contemporary vellum stamped in blind, Kornelis vander Sys, 1731 § Moens (Petronella) & W.H.Warnsinck. 'S Menschen Begin, Midden en Einde, half-title, engraved vignette title and 26 illustrations, original printed yellow boards, very slightly rubbed, old label to spine, preserved in modern cloth drop-back boards, Amsterdam, 1824, [Landwehr 218, 503, 518, 513 & 516 note]; and another, 8vo et infra (6)
