Alciati (Andrea) Emblemata..., with commentary by Claude Mignault & Francisco Sanchez and notes by Lorenzo Pignoria, printed in double column, additional engraved title with elaborate allegorical border, woodcut device on title and another large device on verso of final leaf, woodcut initials and numerous illustrations within decorative borders, one or two small stains, last few leaves frayed at lower outer corner (repaired), modern vellum, upper cover with sphinx from Fable CLXXXVIII drawn in pen & ink, red & green morocco labels, preserved in modern cloth folder and slip-case, [Landwehr Romanic 99], 4to, Padua, Pietro Paolo Tozzi, 1621.
