Bodleian Library.- Nicholson (Edward Williams Byron, Bodley's librarian, 1849-1912) Autograph Postcard initialled "E.W.B.N." to Alfred Nutt, postmarked 13th March 1904, relating to Nutt's interest in the Celtic peoples of the British Isles, "The Keltic-speaking colonists of these isles were apparently a tall, fair race. The nighgrescence of the modern Keltic area is apparently due not to them but to the survival of the vastly more numerous aborigines, who may have been non-Aryan and of more than one race"; and 2 ALs.s from Nicholson, "Our Curators have declined to lend the 2 MSS"; and a small quantity of other letters, including: J.A. Froude (5), Samuel Wilberforce, Bishop of Oxford & later Bishop of Winchester (c. 30), together c. 35 letters, folds, some removed from albums, v.s., v.d. (c. 35).
