Faerno (Gabriel) Centum fabulae ex antiquis auctoribus delectae, collation: A-L⁸, with final blank, italic & roman type, title with printer’s woodcut device, 100 woodcut illustrations by A.Nicolail and G. van Kampen after Pieter van der Borcht, one or two with partial hand-colouring, title with faint contemporary ink inscription and frayed & reinforced at fore-edge, modern brown morocco, upper cover titled in gilt, preserved in modern cloth folder and slip-case, Antwerp, Christopher Plantin, 1585; De Fabelen, edited by D. van Hoogstraaten, engraved additional pictorial title, title in red & black with engraved vignette, woodcut illustrations by Nicolai & van Kampen after van der Borcht, contemporary vellum with roll-tool borders and central lozenge & cornerpieces in gilt, flat spine with decorative tools, soiled, gilding a little worn, Amsterdam, Gerard onder de Linden, 1718, both preserved in modern cloth folders and slip-cases, [Landwehr F098 & 100], 16mo & 8vo (2)
