Les Fables d'Esope, ornées de Cent Huit Figures d'après Barlow, 2 vol., half-titles, engraved frontispiece and 107 plates, each fable printed on recto only facing plate, G1 and consecutive plate to fable XCIV in vol.2 torn and repaired, some light soiling, book-label of Hubert John Elliott, modern morocco-backed patterned marbled boards, Gueffier jeune, An IX 1801; Fables...pour servir à l'Education des Enfans des deux Sexes, 2 vol. in 1, engraved throughout on 145ff. comprising frontispieces, titles, Life of Aesop and 126 illustrations with text below, occasional spotting or soiling, contemporary ink inscription pasted to verso of first frontispiece, later green straight-grain morocco-backed orange boards, spine gilt with red morocco label, boards slightly marked,Tardieu Denesle, [c.1800]; Les Fables d'Ésope, avec Soixante Figures d'après Barlow, half-title, 60 engraved plates, modern dark red half morocco over boards, upper cover with initials in pen & ink, original printed wrappers (soiled) trimmed and mounted on blank leaves and bound in, Genets jeune, 1805 [but wrappers dated 1821], preserved in modern cloth folders & slip-case or drop-back box, Paris, small oblong 4to, 4to & 8vo (4)
