Description

Hyginus (Gaius Julius) Fabularum liber, collation: α4 a-y6 z8, Greek & Latin text, roman type, title with woodcut device, woodcut initials and illustrations of constellations, with the final blank, some browning and spotting, small paper flaw to i4 and tiny rust-hole to t1 both affecting a couple of letters, place of imprint crossed out in ink on both title and colophon, title and two final leaves slightly frayed and repaired at edges, old ink library stamp to title, contemporary vellum over later boards, spine titled in ink, rubbed, spine repaired, new ties and front endpapers, [Adams H1253; VD16 H 6481], folio (328 x 210mm.), Basel, Eusebius Episcopius, 1570.
