Fabulae, collation: a-z8A-C8, lacking final blank, title with woodcut printer’s device, text in Greek and Latin printed in double column, woodcut illustrations, traces of early ink inscriptions to title (partly erased causing wear), title and first few leaves lacking upper outer corner (repaired), worming throughout affecting a few letters (some repairs), modern brown morocco, covers with onlaid paper Greek key frame in pen & ink, [Adams A290], Lyons, Thomas Soubron & Moyse des Prez, 1596; another edition, title with woodcut printer’s device, text in Greek and Latin, mostly printed in double column, woodcut illustrations, trace of early ink inscription to title, modern brown morocco with pictorial pen & ink vellum label onlaid on upper cover, Lyons, J.Jullieron, 1609; Les Fables, translated by J.Baudoin, title with woodcut device and faint ink inscription at head (cropped and laid down), woodcut illustrations, paper flaw holes to V10 with loss of a few words, a couple of tears repaired, later sheep, spine faded, Lyons, Claude Carteron, 1687, all preserved in modern cloth drop-back box; and 2 later Lyons editions in French (1775 & 1799), 12mo (5)
