Bacon (Sir Francis) The Naturall and Experimentall History of Winds, &c., first edition in English, engraved portrait frontispiece, lacking final blank, without the 8pp. advertisements as with some copies noted by Gibson, frontispiece little frayed at fore-edge, R4 small marginal defect affecting only ruled border, browning to margins of first and last few ff., some light water-staining, mainly to final few Sig., contemporary deerskin, scuffed and worn with some loss to spine, joints cracked but covers just holding, preserved in cloth chemise and drop-back box, [Gibson 115; Wing B305], 12mo, for Humphrey Moseley, 1653.
