Burgess (Thomas, Bishop of Salisbury, 1756-1837) Autograph Letter signed to John Pinkerton, 1p. with remains of conjugate blank (mostly torn away), sm. 4to, Auckland Castle, Durham, 1793, "I am going... to finish my medical discipline by ablution at Hartlepool, a bathing place near Durham... do let me know, if you have any fresh intelligence to give me about your Corpus Historicorum..., folds, browned; and 7 others, including an incomplete funeral sermon "At Mr Gould's funeral... January 15th 1704/5", cut signature of Dean Farrar etc., v.s., v.d. (8).
