Britain.- Camden (William) Camden's Britannia, newly translated into English with large additions and improvements, engraved portrait frontispiece (working loose at head), 50 double-page engraved maps (1 with small chip gutter head), of which 4 folding, 8 engraved plates of coins (1 with closed tear and verso paper repair), a single whole-page engraved illustration, woodcut illustrations throughout, a few instances of small amounts of worming to gutter ends affecting multiple ff. at a time, but no significant losses, very occasional spots or stains, generally clean, contemporary calf, upper joint broken at ends but holding in centre, lower cracking, a bit rubbed and worn, [Wing C359], folio, by F.
