China.- Bernard (Paule) [Collection of photographs and colour diapositives relating to "Un an a Formose: Lautre Chine"], c.280 loose photographs, c.85 colour diapositives, some in plastic casings, most with ink manuscript labels, occasional tears and creasing affecting image, some duplicates, some with ink ownership stamp and/or inscriptions to versos, sizes ranging from c.60 x 60 mm to c.265 x210 mm [1960s]; and others relating to her travels to China, including a typescript and flyers for the film (small quantity)

⁂ Paule Bernard was a pilot nurse during World War Two and a maker of travel films. She produced several photographic documentaries, films and articles, including "Un an a Formose: Lautre Chine" from which these photographs are related.
