⁂ Provenance: the first work in this trio, at least, came originally from the library of the French oratorian Seminary of Saint Magloire in Paris, established 1618 [exlibris ink inscriptoin to title head]. Additionally, this it seems to have been the bequest of François de La Poterie (1624-1704), former librarian of Cardinal Jules Mazarin, who is known to have generously donated to the seminary library [ink inscription to title head]. Whether the three works were already bound together at the time of this bequest, or at some later point, it is impossible to say.
