⁂ With the help of Ezra Pound and Jane Heap, Anderson published this modernist magazine from 1914 to May 1929. The magazine's most well known work was the serialization of James Joyce's Ulysses. This run includes 2 copies of 'The Exile issue' (vol.9 no.3), which includes six prose pieces by Ernest Hemingway titled "In Our Time", subsequently included in the Three Mountain Press 1924 edition "In Our Time" which is Hemingway's first published book
