Description

Board of Agriculture.- Communications to the Board of Agriculture on subjects relative to the Husbandry and Internal Improvement of the Country, vol. 1 only bound in 2 [parts 1-4 text, separate plate vol.], 51 engraved plates, these with some very faint browning or spotting at margins, text leaves with scattered faint spots, both vol. uniformly bound in modern calf-backed boards, together housed within slipcase, 4to, by W. Bulmer and co., for George Nichol, 1797.

⁂ Contributions by Sir John Sinclair, Robert Beatson, John Jay, George Washington, Dr. Priestley, and many others; parts 3 & 4 cover America, the East Indies and Europe. Further volumes of the “Communications” continued well into the 19th century.
