Animated scenery.- Mechanical panoramas.- Collection of twelve playbills for exhibitions of various diorama, mechanical panoramas, and animated scenery, including three relating to the 'View of Loch Leven... representing the Escape of Queen Mary from the Island Castle', four others of 'Tours of Europe' with moving diorama, and exhibited views of New Zealand, Constantinople, Switzerland and elsewhere in the British Isles, letterpress playbills and handbills, various sizes between 190 x 125 mm (7 1/2 x 4 7/8 in) and 350 x 110 mm (13 3/4 x 4 1/4 in), all unframed, 19th century (12)
