Bookplates.- M[ontagu] (F[rederick Conway], 1805-91) Bookplate designs and printed bookplates, 2 vol., together 41 designs and bookplates (comprising 5 pencil designs and 1 pen and ink design of initials "FM", 4 printed bookplates with initials "FM" and Montagu coat of arms, 1 pen and ink and 1 watercolour Montagu coats of arms, 25 bookplates of various people and 2 bookplates for Windsor Castle Library, one by Mary Byfield and James West and two by CA Ferrier and James West), some dated in pencil, some laid down others loose, ff. loose and working loose, contemporary calf, rubbed covers detached, lacks spines, bookplates 135 x 100mm. & smaller, 1855-86.

⁂ Presentation inscription in faint pencil to FM in one vol. Bookplates for people, including: Edgar Atheling Drummond; "Thomas Vardon - Librarian - House of Commons - died April 12 1867" (pencil inscription); John Gregory Grace, John Scott Russell, John Naylor Leighton, James Anderson Rose etc.
