Levant.- Mayer (Luigi) Views in Egypt, Palestine, and other parts of the Ottoman Empire, 3 vol. bound as 1, comprising: Views in Egypt ..., third edition, lacking the engraved portrait (as often), loss to title foot with neat repair, 1805; Views in Palestine ..., first edition, 1804, and; Views in the Ottoman Empire ..., first edition, title in English and French, 1803, 96 hand-coloured aquatints, one or two short marginal tears (not affecting text or plates), scattered very faint spotting, occasional light marginal soiling, modern half-calf, [Abbey Travel 369; Atabey 785, 787, 788], folio, 1804 [but 1803-05].

⁂ A handsome copy of Mayer's works. "These three volumes of Mayer's views are frequently found bound together" (Atabey).
