⁂ Rare, with only a BL copy recorded by WorldCat. A swimming gala in aid of the record-breaking Agnes Beckwith and her brother Willie. At the age of 14 Agnes made swimming history by diving off a boat at London Bridge and swimming five miles to Greenwich. In 1885 she appeared at the Royal Aquarium in Westminster billed as 'The Greatest Lady Swimmer in the World'.
