Judaica.- Levi (David) The Form of Prayers...According to the Custom of the German and Polish Jews, 6 vol., second edition, revised by Isaac Levi, engraved portrait frontispiece of Chief Rabbi Solomon Hirschell to vol. 1, additional engraved pictorial titles, text in Hebrew and English, vol. 6 with 15pp. List of Subscribers at end, vol. 4 & 6 lacking additional engraved titles, vol. 4 also lacking ?one preliminary leaf, vol. 6 with Hebrew ink inscription to front free endpaper, vol. 1 front free endpapers and frontispiece nearly loose, vol. 4 p.4 detached and loosely inserted, some spotting, light browning, vol. 1 upper hinge broken, some other hinges cracked, contemporary straight-grain red morocco, gilt, upper covers with "J.E. Samuel" in gilt, vol. 3 spine starting to peel away from lower joint and with small chip to foot, rubbed, g.e., E. Justins, 34, Brick Lane, Spitalfields, A.M. 5567 [1807]; and others, most Judaica, including additional copies of the first mentioned (a defective set, some vol. lacking, some in duplicate), 8vo & 12mo (c.20)
